Home & Life is a Thai orphanage which cares for 26 children aged 2-18. The family who started up Home & Life post-tsunami look after the children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and have given up paid employment to do so. To be able to feed and clothe the orphans, money is raised through a volunteer programme and the onsite bakery which the public can visit for a coffee and cake. The children are also encouraged to use their skills to produce different crafts which they sell at the local market. Despite this activity, they do need further help and in response to this, we’re setting up the Halo Gift campaign which will aid in sustaining this vital care.
